Background
Lawrence spent his early working years in legal practice, and moved into the corporate sector as corporate advisor, legal advisor and director of several private companies. Since 2002, Lawrence has acted in various research, consulting and advisory positions.
Lawrence is a member of the Corporate Lawyers Association of Southern Africa.
In 2004 he was the Secretary of the Work Group of the Task Group for Organising the Turnaround and Business Rescue Industries.
Lawrence is actively involved in ABASA - Association of Business Administrators of South Africa, where he is on the interim executive as Secretary.
Lawrence is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association - Southern Africa .

- Master of Laws in Mercantile Law (University of Pretoria).
- Certificate in Advanced Insolvency Law and Practice (University of Pretoria).
