He specialises in turnaround leadership, leadership alignment, executive development and general management consulting.
His key competencies are retention strategies, training, facilitation, assessment centres and career / vocational counseling, conflict resolution and process facilitation.
Background
Following HR management experience in industry, Garrath started consulting in 1994 both in his personal capacity, and as a managing consultant at an international management consulting firm.
Garrath has been involved in an number of turnarounds with CRS Turnaround, mostly in charge of the turnaround leadership alignment and organisational renewal aspects of the turnaround management programmes.
Garrath is a associate MBL lecturer at UNISA - change and creativity module. He is studying towards his Masters degree in turnaround management.
He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association - Southern Africa - Southern Africa. On 22 September 2005 he was elected Executive Director: Sponsorship.
