Turnaround private equity fund

CRS Turnaround is pursuing the establishment of a R300m turnaround private equity fund. 

The purpose of the fund is two-fold:

• To overcome the barrier of finding turnaround funding during the narrow window of opportunity between viability assessment of a troubled business, and the point in time where the company will falter due to lack of an equity injection.
• To be aligned with the social and political aims of the nation:
  • Increasing the competitiveness of struggling businesses.
  • Preventing job losses.
  • Serving as a vehicle for Black Economic Empowerment.
